Local Color Art Gallery & Studio is a cooperative of local artists showcasing their art in the gallery, and often working in the studio, at the historical Gryphon Building in downtown Joplin, Missouri.They offer art classes to children and adults, and workshops by nationally known guest artists.

Spiva Center for the Arts has provided visual arts experiences for the four-state region since 1947. The Center has journeyed to three locations over time: the Zelleken House at 4th & Sergeant, the campus of Missouri Southern State University, and the historic Cosgrove Building in downtown Joplin.

The Pro Musica Concert Series presents chamber music ensembles of the highest professional quality (open to the public at no charge), a biennial Symphony Orchestra performance, and the annual Joplin PoPs concert.

Joplin Little Theatre is known for having a rich history of continuous activity, presenting high quality productions to the people of the Four-State Area. The theatre operates on ticket sales, sponsorships and donations, and currently does not receive any support from taxpayers.
The Stained Glass Theatre of Joplin exists as an artistic ministry supporting the work of Christian church congregations in their efforts to utilize theatre in reaching the lost and strengthening the believer.
